Suni Needs A Special Adopter Who Will Work With His Prior Abuse and Emotional Baggage. He comes with a healed broken jaw from his past and the defensiveness he needed to survive his 4 short years. Now he needs a loving patient home that will allow him to trust on his own terms. . Suni has issues with food aggression and will not do well in a home with children or other dogs. Suni enjoys playing and running with dogs his size so he would do well in their company but probably best not to live with them. Suni wants to be loved and to trust people. His history causes him to growl when touched and he gradually relaxes and improves as he knows his person. He will likely never be 100% free of his issues but he should relax more over time. Suni plays with his toys and plays chase with the other dogs in the house. He is unsure of cats and finds them fun to bark at but does not chase them. Suni needs an adopter who realizes he has prior damage and will accept him on his terms. Suni is neutered, micropchipped, up to date with his vaccinations, had a dental, heartworm check and fecal. He is charming and learning his potty manners.
